Practice all aspects of the Bak (Middle School) Communication Audition in this weekly online preparation class, charged monthly. Each week will feature portions of a mock audition, including creative writing, public speaking, and media analysis. Homework will be assigned weekly.

Saturdays, 9:55am-10:55am EST, July 4th through December 26th. Additional classes may be offered in January*

*The 2nd Saturday of most months will meet 1 hour earlier (at 8:55am)

This 8-week class designed to prep future Bak MSOA students for the writing portion of the Communication Audition in January/Feburary 2027. This interactive online class will include weekly writing assignments and lessons. Sundays, August 9-September 27, 2026, 5:30-6:30pm EST.

Dig in deep with this 8-week class designed to prep future Bak MSOA students for the Communication Audition in January/Feburary 2027. This interactive online class will focus on the verbal portions of the audition - Media Analysis & Public Speaking. Thursdays, August 13-October 1, 2026, 6-7pm EST.

This intensive 12-week workshop will prepare 5th-7th graders for the 2027 Bak Communication Audition. Two (2) 30-minute private lessons are included (to be completed in October/November & December/January). Weekly preparation classes will be in Creative Writing, Public Speaking, and Media Analysis with mock auditions, weekly lessons, mandatory homework, and practice in all audition areas. 

• Option 1: Thursdays, October 8th-January 7th, 5:30-7:00pm (no class on 11/26, 12/24, or 12/31, must attend 1 make-up class at end of December)

  OR

• Option 2: Sunday, October 4th-January 3rd, 5-6:30pm (No class on 11/29 or 12/27)

*Students can switch between classes as needed, as long as there is availability. Please register for the option that will work for your child the majority of time.

This weekly class prepares 8th grade (and up) students for all aspects of the Dreyfoos Communication audition, including writing, speech preparation and presentation, short film design (synopsis and storyboarding), and interview preparation. Student will have mandatory weekly homework to practice and prepare for the audition.

Group classes meet weekly through December 28th, 2026, Mondays, 8:00pm-9:00pm (4 weeks/month).

One (1) 30-minute private session is included each month (must be completed within that month; do not rollover)
